Frequently Asked Questions
How is my user score calculated, and what does it do?
When you upload content, other users can rate this content. If you upload lots of high rated content, you will be rewarded with a higher user score. This score will go up as more people rate your content. So the more popular and high rated your content is, the higher your score.
On the other hand, if you upload bad content, you will lose points due to bad ratings, and due to the fact that you'll lose extra points when a moderator removes content you uploaded. This way, we are able to grant extra rights and privileges to users which have a high user score.
Another way to gain points is to rate content of other users. You will receive 5 points per vote.
As you join you start as a regular member. When you move to the second level, your ratings will count double. So your vote will count as two votes. This is done because we believe that people who upload high rated content will be able to better rate content then people who upload low rated content.
The same principle works for the third level. After that users are granted edit rights. At this level you are a moderator and will be able to edit comments and the description and title of uploaded content. At this level we have complete trust in your good taste and your capabilities as moderator.
